On August 27,2021, Bishop Knestout was presented with this icon entitled:
“Our Lady Help of Persecuted Christians.”
Created by Italian iconographer Fabrizio Diomedi, the piece was commissioned by the Knights of Columbus to promote their Marian Prayer program. Presenting this icon to Bishop Knestout commemorates the dedication of the Knights of Columbus in the Diocese of Richmond.
