The 2021 Virginia Annual Meeting and State Convention to be held – Saturday, May 1.

Due to Virginia’s gathering size restrictions related to Covid-19, the Virginia State Council’s annual meeting and convention will be held virtually on Saturday, May 1.

This year’s business meeting, which will run 9:00 am – 11:00 am, will include audio and video, and non-delegates can attend. Since we will be using Supreme’s  GoToWebinar platform, Supreme will be setting the time. As soon as I know the time and receive the virtual meeting link, Executive Secretary Steve Kehoe will send both along with the agenda to you. The business meeting will last approximately 90 minutes.

We will also use ElectionBuddy for voting purposes. It’s imperative that all councils update their VSS-4 forms with the GK and PGK delegates that will represent them as soon as possible. Valid email addresses are required for all delegates because delegates will send a separate registration email from ElectionBuddy. Without a valid email address, a delegate will be unable to vote.

We will livestream the Mass for which His Excellency Michael Burbidge, Bishop of the Arlington Diocese, will be the principal celebrant. We will also livestream the Awards Program where we will announce the winners of all state awards. The Mass is tentatively scheduled for 4:30 pm with the reading of the Necrology to occur before the start of Mass, and the Awards Program is tentatively scheduled for 7:30 pm.
