The 126th Annual Meeting and State Convention of the Virginia State Council will be held Friday, May 1, through Sunday, May 3, 2025, at the Hyatt Regency Dulles hotel.

Hotel Information
The discounted room rate at the Hyatt Regency Dulles is $115 plus tax and fees per night, and the rate is good from April 26, 2026, until May 6, 2026. You must reserve your room by April 8, 2026, to get the discounted rate.

Excursions
Brother Knights and their guests can use the 2026 Annual Meeting and State Convention Registration form to sign up for one of the following excursions scheduled for Friday, May 1.
Excursion #1 – Basilica of the National Shrine of the Immaculate Conception & Saint John Paul II National Shrine: Transportation from the hotel will depart at 07:30 and return at approximately 14:00. Lunch is not provided in the fee; there are cafeterias at both the Shrine and Basilica.
Note: This excursion requires a minimum of 10 participants.

Description:
Your pilgrimage to the Saint John Paul II National Shrine will lead you to the encounter with Christ through the life and teachings of Saint John Paul II. This can include:
- Time for prayer and worship,
- Tour of the world-class permanent exhibit which will allow you to discover the man who became Pope John Paul II,
- Veneration of the first-class blood relic of St. John Paul II.
- Special temporary exhibits, and
- Opportunity to obtain a plenary indulgency.
The Basilica of the National Shrine of the Immaculate Conception is a pilgrimage church. It is the preeminent Marian Shrine of the United States. With over 80 chapels and oratories that relate to the Blessed Mother and peoples from countries around the world, one can virtually make a pilgrimage to many of the great Marian shrines of the world and receive their same graces and indulgences by visiting the Basilica of the National Shrine of the Immaculate Conception.
Guided tours last just under one hour. The tours include visits to chapels on the Crypt Level and the Great Upper Church and provide information about the history of the Shrine, the architecture, and the ecclesiastical artwork. View the magnificent mosaics ornamenting the chapels and the domes in the Great Upper Church, as well as several majestic sculptures depicting Our Lord, the Blessed Mother, and many saints. The cost is $35.00 per person.
Excursion #2 – National Zoo: Transportation from the hotel will depart at 07:30 and return at approximately 14:00. Lunch is not provided in the fee; however, the National Zoo offers a variety of dining and shopping option located throughout the park. You are welcome to bring your own food and snacks as well.
Note: This excursion requires a minimum of 10 participants.

Excursion #3 – K1 Speed Go Kart Racing Experience: Get ready for an adrenaline-pumping experience like never before! K1 Speed, the ultimate indoor go-kart racing caters to all skill levels and makes for a great family excursion. Karts are all electric and the adult karts can reach speeds up to 45 mph!
The cost for racers includes all necessary equipment, two 12-lap races, a $10 game card for the arcade, and medals for the top three finishers. The cost for both racers and spectators includes pizza and beverages.
Note: This excursion requires a minimum of eight racers who must be at least 4′ 10″ tall.
Cost: $80 for racers; $25 for spectators
Transportation will be on your own – Meet at the K-1 Speed Indoor Track at 12:00 Noon. We will be finished NLT 14:30.
Excursion #4 – Miniature Golf: If Golf isn’t your thing, why not try Miniature Golf? Get your PUTT on at this 18-hole miniature golf course, featuring various obstacles to challenge your skills. This is a great Family Activity, and we will crown a convention miniature golf champion!!

Cost: $10 per person
Lunch is not provided; however, there are a number of local restaurants nearby, including several at the adjacent Oakmont Golf Club / course.
Golf Outing
The 2026 Convention Golf Outing will be held at Pleasant Valley Golf Club, located nearby at 4715 Pleasant Valley Rd, Chantilly, VA. Tee Times begin at 07:30. Your fee includes a small bucket of range balls, green fees, and cart. You can also purchase a mulligan package and 50/50 drawing tickets. The awarding of prizes and 50/50 drawing will occur after all play is complete.
Lunch is not provided in the fee, and transportation is up to you.
Convention Program Advertising Information
The State Convention Program provides value and memorable information for the convention attendees. The Program ads defray some of the cost associated with the annual meeting.
This is an opportunity for Councils, Districts, and Assemblies to express their thanks and congratulatory remarks for another great year, as well as, for commercial sponsors to advertise.
The Program serves as a guide to convention activities and a keepsake of the events. It serves as out state yearbook, with portraits of our leadership, district deputies, and the state staff who work tirelessly to make the fraternal year a success. The Program provides the convention schedule, so you know where to be, when, and what to wear.
