We’d like to share with you some information and the video linked in the July 12th Knightline article below on the Knights of Columbus support for the National Eucharistic Revival. Corpus Christi Sunday was the lead-off date for the Eucharistic Revival and St. Catherine of Siena parish had a four person video crew sent by the Supreme Council to film their Corpus Christi Procession. Our Assembly, St Elizabeth Bayley Seton Assembly, #1781 provided an Honor Guard and led the Corpus Christi Procession in Great Falls, Va. on June 19, 2022. We are the first Procession shown in the video. Four SK in the Assembly with ORD participated, as well as SK Kelly Niemberger. They were followed by several SK in social dress uniform and Third Degree Knights from Padre Pio Council, #10754 — all totaling 25+ Knights. Several Knights and parishioners were later interviewed and spoke of the meaning to them of the Feast of Corpus Christi and the Procession. Last year’s Grand Knight of Padre Pio Council, SK Ernie Piro (our current Captain), was instrumental in submitting a successful application for filming to Supreme and in working with the Pastor, the Assembly, and the film production company, among others, in the organization and execution of this very meaningful and successful event with the participation of several hundred parishioners. For the feast of Corpus Christi, Knights across the United States helped organize processions to promote devotion to the Blessed Sacrament in their communities, including Great Falls, Va., Montebello, Calif., New Roads, La., and Minot, N.D.
