Worthy Faithful Navigator and Color Corps Commander,

The attached flyer provides pertinent information about the upcoming 2022 National Columbus Day Celebration at Columbus Plaza-Union Station. The VSM of Calvert Province, Mike Thumm, designated this year’s celebration as a “Provincial Call Out.” I know from past experiences, Virginia usually provides the largest contingent of participates to this event. No doubt we’ll do it again.

Event/Start Time: The National Columbus Day Celebration/11:00 AM (See attached flyer for other details)

Date: Monday, 10 October (Columbus Day Observance)

Event Location: Christopher Columbus Memorial-Columbus Plaza-Union Station (50 Massachusetts Ave., NE, Washington, DC 20002)

Muster Time/Location: 9:00 AM/Christopher Columbus Memorial

Dress Code: The Official Regalia Dress-Service Regalia (ORD-SER) – See attachment for ORD-SER requirements

Parking: Free parking across the street from the memorial

As usual, Honor America Corps is bringing their full complement of historical U.S. flags to the celebration. We’ll need many Sir Knights as flag bearers so Worthy Navigator and Color Corps Commander, please encourage the Sir Knights to participate in this celebration.   

Worthy Navigator and Color Corps Commander, if there’s Sir Knights wishing to participate, please RSVP me their head count no later than Sunday, 9 October.
