Worthy Sir Knights

This is an early reminder about the next Exemplification. I trust that you and the Sir Knights in your Assembly are actively recruiting new members for the upcoming Exemplification on October 27, in Herndon.

New members are the life line of our Order. The larger our Assemblies, the more good we can do in our support of Patriotism, our Veterans, and in all the good we do in our communities. Now is the time to ask those Knights to join our Patriotic Degree.

I am reminding you of the new dress requirements for candidates and observers.
1. Candidates are NOT required to wear tuxedos for the Exemplification.
2. Candidates may wear a dark black, grey, or blue suit with a plain white shirt (no French cuffs or button-down collars) and basic/conservative style tie. Both jacket and pants must be dark in color. Brown, green, or other color suits are not authorized. Active duty Military may wear their Class A or dress uniform. Policemen and Firemen may wear their dress uniform.
3. Candidates should not wear name badges nor any pins on their lapels. They will be provided with an identification badges and a PG-113 pin prior to the ceremony.
4. 4th Degree Sir Knights attending the Exemplification as observers may wear dark black, grey, or blue suit with a plain white shirt (no French cuffs or button down collars) and basic/conservative style tie. Both jacket and pants must be dark in color. Brown, green, or other color suits are not authorized. They may also wear the new 4th Degree Uniform. Active duty Military may wear their Class A or dress uniform. Policemen and Firemen may wear their dress uniform.
5. Supreme guidance for the wearing of pins, jewels, and miniature medals must be followed. Only the PG-113, pin of the 4th Degree may be worn.
6. Escorts, Door Guards, or other Honor Guard participants should wear the new Uniform, if available, or may wear the current Service Regalia.
7. Dress for the banquet for Sir Knights will be the same as the candidate and observer dress for the Exemplification.
