Membership in the Virginia Knights of Columbus

Jim Glover

Membership Director

As of July 1, 2016, there were 26,684 members of the Knights of Columbus in Virginia, belonging to 143 individual councils in every part of the state. We're everywhere the Catholic Church is, and so you'll find councils in major metropolitan areas like Richmond, Norfolk, Roanoke and Charlottesville as well in smaller towns like Ebony, Rocky Mount and Clarkesville.  We're also well established throughout suburban communities in Northern Virginia and Tidewater. Our councils range in size from a few dozen members to several thousand, and they are as diverse as the Catholic Church itself.

Why should you consider joining the Knights of Columbus?  You'll find five great reasons HERE.

We've set a goal of adding 1,400 new members in Virginia during the current fraternal year (July 1, 2016 - June 30, 2017), and we'd like you to be one of them.  It's easy to find a council near you. Membership is open to men who are practical (practicing) Catholics who are at least 18 years of age. We also have a Columbian Squires program for boys aged 10-18, and a women's auxiliary, the Ladies of Virginia (LOV).

Join us!  You'll be glad you did.
